Curry powder is a mix of spices that has many benefits. Curry powder has many ingredients such as turmeric, coriander and chili powder.

One ingredient, Tumeric which has a pigment called curcumin. There are many anti-inflammatory benefits to Curcumin. These benefits have been proven to help relieve symptoms of inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and other inflammatory bowel disease.

Chili is an ingredient that hs Capsaicin which also is a very strong anti-inflammatory effect.

Coriander is also anti-inflammatory.

There is other research that curry may improve heart health and has helped with blood pressure. It has been shown as well to have anticancer effects.

Also, curry powder has very strong antioxidants, such as querrcetin, lutein, pinene and cumin and zeaxanthin.

It has been shown that there is a feeling of fullness and a reduced hunger effect.

Coriander and cumin has antifungal and antibacterial properties. More research is needed but there is a lot of literature and reports of these benefits.

One very simple recipe that I use is the curry pasta recipe, that I have included the link to here. You may use the vegan version here, or substitute mayonnaise with the veganaise, and traditional pasta for the lentil or chickpea past that I included in my recipe. The amount of curry powder used is also very much variable dependent upon your tastes. Please enjoy this recipe and reach out should you have any questions.
